It’s that time of year again. State Leadership Conference is coming up in March and Waldron High School is planning to be competitive! What does a chapter need to do? Well, here are some of the things Waldron is doing to prepare. *Raising Funds – The Waldron chapter has sold Discover Indy Coupon Books before Christmas and we will also be selling Krispy Kreme donuts in February and again in April. *Studying – We are holding “study groups” for students competing in the same events a couple of afternoons a week. This gives the opportunity for teams to work together in an uninterrupted setting after school. *Picking out our Business Attire – Students are learning about acceptable business attire for competition and are bringing their choices in to be approved. We also have posters out in the business room for reference. * Planning for FBLA Week – This is one of our most fun weeks of the year! Activities usually include a comic fashion show during lunch, drawings for our FBLA Café customers daily, daily quotes from inspirational business leaders, Dress for Success Day, and a community service activity. There are usually many students who decide to join FBLA after they see how much fun we have together!

All in all, we are doing everything we possibly can to make sure that Waldron High School FBLA is a strong competitor at this year’s SLC!
