  • Joel Meyer - President

    FBLA Involvement: 3 years

    Hobbies/Interests: Technology, Music, Academics

    Awards: First place in Business Management, First place in Computer Problem Solving, Second place in Computer Programming Simulation, Third place in UX Design, Fourth place in Impromptu Speaking.

    Bio: Joel Meyer attends South Newton High School and joined FBLA his sophomore year. He is the Student Council Representative of his local FBLA chapter. At his school, Joel is the Band Rebel Regiment manager and Interact Club President. Joel is involved in Student Council, Students Against Destructive Decisions, Bring Change to Mind, Spanish Club, Swimming and Diving, Cyberpatriot, and National Honor Society. Outside of school, Joel is the senior student manager at Murphy’s Food King, and is a cook at Fair Oaks Farmhouse Restaurant. He volunteers for his town to help build and maintain the Goodland Veterans’ Memorial, volunteers as part of Santa’s Chefs, and as a 4H camp counselor. Joel is involved in 4H and 4H Junior Leaders. He wishes to bring increased membership in FBLA through increased awareness and school involvement.

  • Jacqueline Vazquez - Executive VP

    FBLA Involvement: 3 years

    Hobbies/Interests: Reading, Traveling, Puzzles, Knitting

    Awards: First place in Intro to Event Planning, third place in Intro to Financial Math, third in Intro to FBLA, fifth place in Job Interview.

    Bio: Jacqueline Vazquez is currently in her junior year at Bishop Dwenger High School, and she joined FBLA her freshman year. She is Executive Vice President of her local chapter. At school, she is Vice President of the KEYS Club, the Junior Class Representative, and involved in Spell Bowl, the Academic Team, Student Council, Spirit Club, SEA Club, and SADD. Outside of school, she has two jobs including being a hostess at The Deck in the summer and a server at Ceruti’s as well as being a lector at her local church. She enjoys spending her time reading and doing puzzles. Through FBLA, Jacqueline is hoping to improve her networking skills as well as further her business knowledge.

  • Jordan Olarewaju - Vice President

    FBLA Involvement: 2 years

    Hobbies/Interests: Soccer, Marching band, Photography, Car repairing (cars), Making money, Traveling, Football, Basketball - Philanthropy, Video games, Content Creation.

    Awards: First place in Sports and Entertainment Management, third place in International Business, and third place in Public Speaking.

    Bio: Jordan was late to the FBLA community and lifestyle. He adapted quickly and has found his place as a current State VP for FBLA. Jordan attends Lawrence North High School and also is a starting varsity striker for the Boys Lawrence North soccer team. Along with that Jordan has been a part of: NTHS(National Technical Honor Society), and MPLT(Marching Pride of Lawrence Township) Marching Band, during his time in High School. Jordan is keen to help wherever help is needed. Through a handful of community service hours, Jordan has most certainly done his part for his community. He is honest and is one to believe that his strongest quality is his integrity. Jordan is a very extroverted individual. He loves to have fun, living life to the fullest, and making people smile. FBLA has unlocked a window of opportunity for Jordan to spread his wings to make memorable memories and connections. Jordan has no limits; he's willing to do anything in order to become the best person he can be not just for himself, but for others.

  • Megan Reed - Secretary

    FBLA Involvement: 1 Year

    Hobbies/Interests: Writing- Reading- Painting- working- volunteering at the vet's office- spending time with my dog and family- helping teach in mom’s homeschool environment- singing- listening to music

    Awards: First place in Client Service, Second place in Digital Video Production, Fourth place in Journalism, Fifth place in Help Desk.

    Bio: Megan Reed is currently a Senior at Indiana Connections Career Academy (INCC) and joined FBLA in her Junior year as Reporter/Historian in her local chapter. Now in her senior year Megan holds the position of Vice President for her local chapter and is the Secretary in the state level. Megan likes volunteering at her local Vet’s office, painting, reading, or writing, when she is not working at the Library. Megan enjoys furthering her education through dual credits, honors classes, and participating in FBLA. She wants to take this opportunity to give back to the FBLA community. Megan hopes to increase membership and participation through her role as Secretary in the state level of FBLA.
